Breakfast Television Host

Dave Kelly came to Calgary morning television in 1997 to host the Big Breakfast and lend his enormous creativity to launch a new concept in local television. His unique style, sense of humour and connection with the community has helped make Citytv’s Breakfast Television Calgary’s most dynamic morning show.
Dave began his professional career as a teacher. It was in front of a class of junior high students that Dave learned if he was going to do anything - he’d better be interesting. A decision that has led him to his next career - in the spotlight in theatres across the country.
Nominated 4 times, Dave has twice won as “Best Television Host” for the AMPIA (Alberta Motion Picture Industry Association) Awards.
